Little Rock is the capital and the largest city in the state of Arkansas. According to the 2010 United States Census Little Rock has an estimated population of 193,524 residents. There are many large companies headquartered in Little Rock, adding to its growing economic standing as well as adding to the cities large population. Little Rock and its surrounding areas are also the headquarters for some of the largest and most recognizable non-profit organizations in the world, including Winrock International, Heifer International, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, Clinton Foundation, and many more. The city is also rich in history and culture for the Arkansas area, welcoming visitors on a regular basis.

Little Rock is known for offering a strong recovery community. Numerous AA meetings take place on a daily basis in Little Rock, offered by a wide array of different groups, all within the Alcoholics Anonymous Fellowship. Both men and women battling addiction are able to get the support and understanding they need to help maintain their sobriety within the many AA Meeting in the Little Rock area.
